Stage Manager Callout

We are currently looking to recruit a Stage Manager for our new musical for families ‘Cinderella Ice Cream Seller’.

The production dates are as follows:

April 13th, Sunday - The Dome, Brighton
April 23rd and 24th, Wednesday and Thursday - New Vic Theatre, Staffordshire
May 3rd, Saturday - The ARC, Stockton on Tees
May 10th, Saturday - Farnham Maltings, Surrey
May 11th, Sunday - artsdepot, London
May 26th, Monday - Rosehill Theatre, Whitehaven
May 27th, Tuesday - Bolton Library and Museum
May 28th, Wednesday - Barnsley Civic,
May 29th and 30th, Thursday and Friday, Macready Theatre, Rugby

About Cinderella Ice Cream Seller

Cinderella is a new musical for families, with music, book and lyrics by David Gibb. The production opened at The Story Museum in Oxford for a 2-week run in December 2024, which was followed by a week-long tour of the UK in February Half Term 2025. The show runs for 65 minutes is a 2-hander with the performers playing all the music live. You can find out more here: www.littleseedsmusic.co.uk/cinderella

We are ideally looking for someone who could fulfill all of the dates above, but we are also open to exploring the option of 2 or 3 people covering the tour between them. The ability to drive is not essential but is welcome. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • The Stage Manager will be responsible for overseeing get-in, get-out daily during the tour. You will be supported by the company and in-house venue technicians.

  • Driving the company on tour - the driving will be shared between the Stage Manager and one other company member. 

  • Operating light and sound.

  • Producing show reports.

  • Any other business related to the successful performance of the show.

Fee

The fee is £600 a week (4 days plus) with single days at £120. Accommodation, travel and per diems are included as additional as per ITC rates.
